Terri S. Morgan is originally from Houston, Texas. She graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1975, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History.  Prior to becoming an attorney Terri was employed for 10 years as Senior Supervisor of Aetna Casualty & Surety Company's Liability Claim Department in Houston, Texas, where she handled product liability, medical malpractice, Jones Act, workers' compensation, and other large liability claims, as well as surety and fidelity bond claims.

Terri graduated cum laude from the University of Houston College of Law in 1988, and was a member of the Order of the Coif.  She began her legal career with Kirk & Carrigan, P.C., a litigation boutique in Houston, Texas, where she represented multiple plaintiffs in the Brio Superfund litigation, and defendant Coca-Cola Enterprises in litigation arising
out of the catastrophic 1989 Alton, Texas school bus accident, in which 21 children drowned.  For 12 years Terri was senior associate attorney of Dugger & Associates in Houston, Texas, where she headed up that firm's litigation practice, handling commercial and employment disputes. She relocated to Austin and joined Fleckman & McGlynn, PLLC as an associate in 2003, where she represented clients in disputes over
software development and assisted a foreign bank's challenge to the jurisdiction of Texas courts.

In 2005 Terri joined Arnold & Placek as a senior associate.  Her practice is focused in the areas of complex commercial litigation; insurance law, including coverage, premium fraud, and bad faith litigation; workers' compensation; labor and employment law;
construction law; and appeals.  Terri also has experience in the negotiation of contracts and other transactional matters.  She is a member of the Texas bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.
