Matthew Heagerty is a native of Austin, Texas. He received his B.A. with honors in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. Before attending law school, Matthew worked extensively in the wireless telecommunications industry.

Matthew received his law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2009, and became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas that same year. After completing law school, Matthew worked in the Civil Medicaid Fraud Division of the Texas Office of the Attorney General before joining the law firm of Arnold & Placek in 2010. Matthew is developing his practice in the areas of commercial law and insurance litigation, with a focus on issues related to workers’ compensation disputes.
