Matthew J. Foerster grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in psychology from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. He then returned to Little Rock to work for the Arkansas Public Defender Commission.

Matt graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2008. During part of his third year, as part of a Public Service Externship, he served as judicial clerk for Justice Tom Glaze of the Arkansas Supreme Court.

After completing law school, Matt joined the law firm of Arnold & Placek, P.C. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is developing his practice in the areas of commercial law and insurance litigation, primarily focusing on workers' compensation issues.
